The text font is okay, but that Yin-Yang thing gotta go.
The leaper is hard to see with all the lines, so that's also a fail.

LOL

Just when I have thoughts of hope for Jaguar’s future here and there cross through my brain, then I come across things like this that I can’t unsee…

Is this for real? I mean, seriously…Maybe their new image will grow on me but I don’t know…lol

My initial reaction to this is that things are about to take a very dark and weird turn ;-0

Looks like weird high fashion. Whatever they were previously doing wasn't working, so I don't blame them if they go in a much different direction. I hope it works out for them.

A new logo is the last thing Jaguar needs. Would prefer a successor to the F-type.

It just got worse...
Received an email from Jaguar with a blue-painted child flapping her arms.

Yeah, if you're designing a range of vehicles it makes sense to spend most of the budget getting the font right. D'uh!

Not sure I identify with any of the "exuberants", either, so I'm obviously not their target demographic.

Now I'm scared. I was holding out hope, and I thought the leaked spy shot was a good sign, but this, this screams pure lunacy.

This isn't futuristic at all. The fifth element came out in 1997

It neither offends or excites me nor do I understand what it is to achieve beyond upsetting Jaguar's traditional market, but no doubt there is some method to the madness and I am no advertising guru. I am reminded of the clip to Big Data's "Dangerous" which is acutely funny - setting out how shoes are to be marketed - worth a watch but not in front of the kiddies.

Default Jaguar Copy Nothing

A new advertising campaign just kicked off. Not quite sure what to make of it other than they changed the font used for Jaguar. No cars are shown.

(emphasis mine)

There's not. This is like the horrific (from a sales/marketing standpoint) Bud Light Dylan Mulvaney incident ... only much, much worse.

The comments on X are hilarious.

Elon Musk: "Do you sell cars?"

They're getting ratioed like 10 to 1 (comments to likes), and that's about as bad as it gets.

Classic Elon response.

They're getting ratioed all to hell and back. Almost 10 to 1 comments vs. likes.

Oh and dupe.

At least we now understand what happened to Jaguar.

Sticking to design basics, the capital G in the logo amidst a bunch of lowercase letters is awful. I just noticed the forum logo also has this but somehow isn't as bad...

I miss the good old days.

I guess the monogram is designed so you can identify the car in a rollover.
