The new Jaguar, lol
LOL
Just when I have thoughts of hope for Jaguar’s future here and there cross through my brain, then I come across things like this that I can’t unsee…
Is this for real? I mean, seriously…Maybe their new image will grow on me but I don’t know…lol
My initial reaction to this is that things are about to take a very dark and weird turn ;-0

Yeah, if you're designing a range of vehicles it makes sense to spend most of the budget getting the font right. D'uh!
Not sure I identify with any of the "exuberants", either, so I'm obviously not their target demographic.

It neither offends or excites me nor do I understand what it is to achieve beyond upsetting Jaguar's traditional market, but no doubt there is some method to the madness and I am no advertising guru. I am reminded of the clip to Big Data's "Dangerous" which is acutely funny - setting out how shoes are to be marketed - worth a watch but not in front of the kiddies.
A new advertising campaign just kicked off. Not quite sure what to make of it other than they changed the font used for Jaguar. No cars are shown.

There's not. This is like the horrific (from a sales/marketing standpoint) Bud Light Dylan Mulvaney incident ... only much, much worse.
Sticking to design basics, the capital G in the logo amidst a bunch of lowercase letters is awful. I just noticed the forum logo also has this but somehow isn't as bad...
I miss the good old days.
