The new Jaguar, lol
The video might be overstated here and there - but it sounds credible.
And it seems consistent with what we hear from the company itself.
A very sad story, and likely to become a popular Case Study at Business Schools.

Do any of you happen to work in corporate in ANY large company? Any of them? I do and have for near 15 years now and this whole DEI, diversity hiring, agenda pushing BS is happening EVERYWHERE. The only reason you don't really see it too much from every company is because they are not advertising to you. Our customers are in the automotive and building materials industry and I am not even exaggerating when I say that this type of stuff is how it is with us as well. And it works because at the upper echelon of our customers' companies, the same worldview persists. Not only that, a large portion of the shareholders are perceived to be of this mindset as well. The reason? All of these corporate shills and butt kissers are college educated morons and they are now majority millennials. There is literally nothing unique about this except in that you don't always see it. Just this week, I had to take 2 stupid continuing education classes on DEI and diversity. I deal with it because it doesn't directly affect me and I get paid very very well enough to not give any craps to be honest. I only lead the IT division. Most of us are like this, especially us Gen X and Boomers. We have made it this far. The new guard will be taking over. There is literally no escaping it. So why even worry about it? Your outrage and panic will change nothing. The tide that does change moves slowly and effectively on its own. This ad will not turn your children or grandchildren trans or whatever it is you hate so much about it. Indifference is a hell of an approach, to be sure.

Round and round we go...
There's no hate, stud. But someone whose source of income is farming outrage to old white people who are offended by television commercials isn't going to necessarily be a biased source of anything.
I feel attacked for being straight and white! Let me go listen to people online (that I don't know and probably don't even feel this way in person but know they can make bank talking about it and then act like they're telling the truth about everything) because it sounds like stuff I want to hear.
These guys are no different than preachers tapping their feet in stalls or banging prostitutes or politicians who enact laws like restricted gun carry but then surround themselves by armed personnel, or even carry guns themselves (ahem, Harris) - they're hypocrites selling snake oil to the desperate.

Well, specifically infrastructure and networking. AI and robots are a long long way off from coming close to taking these jobs. Matter of fact, the IT Infrastructure team makes up about 20% of the entire global workforce at my company of around 80k employees. Manufacturing takes a lot of digital communications and information technologies. Who knew, yeah? Sure a lot more folks are more competent with personal IT, so to speak, but enterprise, global, large scale manufacturing is a whole is different realm of expertise. Honestly, there is way more IT in 2024 than there was when I started 22 years ago. I lead just one division and have roughly 300 folks in IT here.

The thing that baffles me, even IF Jaguar is going this whole route with the new vehicles...that's literally the least of their problems with their plans.

The new guard is taking over -- no escaping it, remember? What you celebrated as indifference probably should have been replaced by keeping up with technology. You'll find out soon enough. The good news is there are plenty of resources available to learn new skills. Plan ahead.
I remember one day (long time ago) a sale reps at Jaguar told me that the best client for Jaguar were the one’s that bought a MGB, TR6 or a Spitfire as their first car. My first car was a MGB 1974 brand new. Later with more money in my pocket I bought an XFS (2017 brand new) and a my XK8 2006 VE that I love.
I always look when a Bentley, RR or Aston Martin pass my because I love the British cars and the the mentality behind them, maturity and history.
Now I am ashamed with this new trends, new logo, new style and in the mean times NO CAR and NO FUTURE.
When I look at the new publicity it brings me back the Paris Olympic opening with the NUE scene with Drags Queens and the back lash they had. The video was banned and they even apologized for it.
when you ask a Marketing or a Publicity firm’s to give you a new style they will do. But you are still in command and say YES or NO. I think the ones who said YES should be FIRED.

I guess you'd rather see Bumbling Biden speak and then see him confused as to how to get off stage and then fall on his face on stage and also on airlines steps multiple times. You jprobably really enjoy Chackling Kamala repeat and repeat and etc the story of her 'middle class' upbring. And yes, I love the little dance Trump does.

So is the type 00 going to be a real car? Or is it just AI generated? Have we seen anything about what might actually be a new model? The ridiculous advertising aside, it would be nice to see a VERY DIFFERENT CAR on the road, for a change. Everything's looking the same, if you can get past all the NPC crossover pods.

IMHO the Type 00 will never appear as a real car for sale to the general public, well at least nothing bearing much if any resemblance to those concept cars.
The "real" cars are not slated to appear until early 2026 at the earliest and I'm betting we won't see anything for sale until much later than that.
