Default 01 s type to flush tranny at 69k or to not?

Recently bought 3.0 s type wondering if I should flush tranny at 69k ? Opinions?
Noticed slight slips over the first 5k that I put on the car...I'm afraid these slight tranny slips may get worse if I flush the tranny.... What you guys think?

A drain-and-fill is less risky. You may want to research the pros and cons of both....

Thanks guys, hey Jon do you know if a drain and fill will replace all fluid? Because I did such a thing on my 97 x300 but it only replaced 4 qts or so of trans fluid, not familiar with the s type.
Thanks again

LOL

There's a TC (torque convertor) and cooling lines so draining won't get anything like all of it out. You'd need to flush through or disassemble (ouch!) if you want to get it all.

Several guys here on the forum have reported that when they allowed their ZFs to drain overnight, they were able to drain 7 to 7.5 litres of the original 10 litres out of the transmission....

True but there'll be a similarish amount of oil left in after a simple drain.

If you end up doing the job, would be great if you could take some pics of the step by step process. Lots of people have made suggestions on the site which are great but a true see all breakdown of doing it on your model would help a great many people here. Thanks.

There's already a FAQ (maybe more than one) of working on the 5R55N. And plenty of threads about how to fill / check the fill level.
