Default 05 Jaguar S Type R Remote Start Install Help

Hello everyone, i have a 05 Jaguar S Type R and having issues programming the key fobs since my car didn't come with one, just the valley key with RFID chip, i purchased 3 fobs online and tried every possible way i could find to put the car in learning mode but no luck, now i want to install a remote start alarm system and not use jags alarm, does anyone have a installation instructions to which wires i need to tap in to get it working? i'm getting a immobilizer bypass module also and if that does't work, i'll just tape the RFID chip to the ignition coil so it won't prevent the car from remote starting, any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need a dealer grade or licensed scanner to program key fobs on the S type .
nothing else will work .
also the ids/sdd jag software can silence the alarm .
but you can't remove it .

Thanks Datsports for the reply. I dont want to take the car to the dealer or to locksmith cuz they want 350$ to program a key, I much rather install a aftermarket alarm with remote start and be done with it. I can buy a Chinese clone JLR Scanner that will program keys and much more for that price. What I'm looking for here is someone that can provide me with wiring diagram to help me install a aftermarket alarm.

Thanks Joe. Here in Memphis TN, we only have one jaguar dealer and their prices are out of this world. I did a search on the forum and few people have installed aftermarket alarm systems and they claim its pretty strait forward, most wires are in the driver door to tap in so I'm gonna try to do a search and see if I can find a driver door module wiring diagram.

all well and good what you want .
but as i said you can not remove jaguar PATS , its SAE requirement from the factory .
and runs on the SCP and CAN BUS network .
there for you must program your keys the prescribed method . as stated . there is no work around .
but there is nothing stopping you from running a stand alone alarm in parallel with PATS .

a high quality scanner will do the job . i had mine done by a lock smith with a snap on scanner years ago .
$160nzd
now i have IDS and a VCM and i can now carry this out my self next time .
also the free download of IDS/SDD has all the wiring diagrams WITH IN .
you can also view them on jagrepair.com

Thanks again Datsports, yes i don't want to remove original alarm, i know it's not possible, i want to install it parallel with existing and just leave the jags system unarmed and use the aftermarket to lock/unlock also remote start. Where did you get your IDS VCM? i want to buy one too and be able to reprogram my keys or reset transmission and airbag and other modules so i don't have to sell a kidney to pay for it a t the dealer.

i purchased both from a forum member .
they pop up occasionally . ebay or the forum market place
.
there are free downloads of JLR IDS/sdd both on this forum and jagrepair.com .
and discs on ebay as well. the VCM will be the hard part to find .
also beware of clones , these are dangerous for reprogramming with .
there is a post somewhere on here about what to look for .
you will need to sell a kidney to buy a VCM1. .
.
.
