Default 2002 3.0 No Start

I've been having a problem with my jaguar when trying to start it where the starter will turn, but the car will not start until about 8 to somtimes 25 tries. I just replaced the*fuel*pump, sender and fuel filter and it worked for a day than on the second day it went back to taking awhile to start which makes me know something else is wrong.*Check*engine*light*is on and its running lean in bank 1 and 2 because of a vacuum leak that is getting fixed but i dont think that is the case. Sometimes when it does fire up after a few turns, it seems to want to stall making me turn key back to off. After a few times it than fires right up running great. When running awhile if I turn*the*engine*off and run in a store it fires right back up. It also seems to give me problems after it sits for awhile. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! Shop seems to be clueless and has me worried....Sometimes when I pull the key out its HOTT!!!

A vacuum leak can make it very hard for the computer to run the engine. Start by fixing it.

There are a lot of threads about leaks but you sound to be short on experience. Have a read and see if you think you can continue but if in doubt it's likely wise to get a tech to fix it. Realise you could easily make things worse if you work without appropriate knowledge and care.

If you want to DIY you've got a lot of reading to do. Start with the stickies here and get JTIS. You don't sound to be in the area of an easy DIY fix.
