Default AA Auto Protection (Sexy or Risky)??? HELP!!!

They used to be AA Auto Warranty. They sell after market warranties...on the surface everything looks good. They have a couple plans (seen below) that fit your needs...BUT there is TONS of bad reviews online. I know people only post to complain and not to praise but has anybody else heard of this company or have had any experience with them? My engine is about to go out and quiet honestly if I can get it under warranty before it does then that would help me out so much. THey said that you can take your care anywhere and that there is no deductible. They will pay up to $10,000 or the ACV of your care which ever is greater. They even said you can cancel at any time which seems to be the source of most of the complains lol. I also read that they are only the broker of the warranty so when people are having problems they are not liable.

any insight and or help would be greatly appreciated

I guess the use of 'honestly' in your post was coincidental and somewhat ironic. There's nothing 'honest' about screwing an insurance company, which is what you're proposing.

it would be nice if you would add some VALUE to the post and not JUDGE! screwing the insurance company would be for the engine to be gone already and then getting insurance. if you were sick would you not try to get some type of insurance to go to the doctor? if you were dying would you attempt to get life insurance?

Either would be considered fraud if you don't disclose a pre-existing condition. I doubt any car warranty program would cover engine repairs if you told them in advance that 'My engine is about to go out'.

They're in business to make a profit, not provide charity.

I prefer to put the money into a bank account and draw from it as and when needed. Over many years and more cars than I like to recall I'm way ahead. However, it could have been different if I'd been very unlucky or failed to do any research and bought lemon after lemon.

there is no "pre-existing" condition right now. there is just problem after problem. so right now since its good I want to get protection. that is not fraud that is smart.
