battery drain

Red face battery drain

Hi all I have 3.0 petrol s type 2002 I have this issue a battery drain problem had car for six weeks it has not done this before have looked at posts on this site some saying change radio or wipers our key flap and few more things to check for now I just disconnect battery lead till a get spare battery to keep in boot be good to hear if come up with more idea's mike

Have you measured the current drain when your car has fully shut down, after approx 45 mins?

I'd be more inclined to read your post and help out if you used some punctuation rather than posting one long run on sentence. Read other posts on the forum and see how it's done. thnx.

hi from down under thanks for getting back to me have looked at your sticker found it very help full have a meter now have not had time to have a go . will do it when get back off to Spain for a week also had a look at a site called ( pistonheads gassing station ) under jaguar s type battery drain found this to be help full too thanks again for your help mike
