I need help big-time I've tried all the suggestions on here fuse battery different codes different everything the only thing I haven't tried is the file everyone keeps talking about to download I have a 2006 jag s type i'm kind of freaking out I need this car l, it's nice to have that so I can control the air I'm somewhere in banning California if some people don't know where that is it's extremely hot and I would like the air but not just that I would like my car to be normal it would make me feel better so if someone has that file they can email me at chrystal.chafey@iCloud.com or you can even call me 949-813-7348 I don't know a lot about cars but I do know that ever since I got this jaguar I'm so confused everything is backwards to me I'm used to Hondas anyways if somebody can please help me guide me anything you can suggest I would appreciate it if you can send me the file I would appreciate it I need guidance here please help

The error 50 and 51 code is usually down to the software being deleted from the NAV unit.

This can happen if the unit is faulty or if you press the s/w update button and then the yes button in the hidden menu.

If it was you and you pressed the software update button you may be able to recover the unit by purchasing a newer map DVD than the one that is in your nav unit as these come with a software update. But it may not work if you already have the latest software as these can only be updated with newer versions not backdated to previous ones.
If this does not work or you did not press the s/w update button then you will probably need a replacement NAV unit.

In short if you did press the S/W update button in the hidden menu then it is your fault the NAV unit has stopped working, if you did not then it is probably a faulty NAV unit and not your fault at all.
