P1637 indicates an earth or ground fault related to the abs module.
Check earths/grounds behind front headlights.
Be very careful they can break off very easily if corroded.

As you will see in the manual, a possible cause of P1637 is a problem with the Controller Area Network (CAN) circuitry between the Dynamic Stability Control Module (DSCM) and the Engine Control Module (ECM). This can be caused by looseness of or corrosion on electrical connector terminals, pinched or chafed wiring, etc. You can see these circuits and connector locations in the Electrical Guide, which you can download here:
