Default Help! Overheated S Type

I have an S Type 2000, today my wife was driving and it overheated. I told her to pull over as soon as possible, which was about 1 Mile. She turned it off and I came out.

When I went to start the car it barely started and ran a bit rough. I went about 1 mile and it died.

I crank and crank and it finally start but will not run.

There is no water in the oil nor is there oil in the water. It looks like fluid has sprayed out of the hose connection.

What now? Any help appreciated.

Sounds like bad news... driving 1 mile with an overheating engine is never a good thing as long as your wife is okay that's what counts!

It seems that the Crossover Coolant Pipe is cracked causing the overheating. I have located one and have it on order but I am not sure that this is all I am going to have to do now.

Remove the plugs and check for compression.
