Ok here is my problem, when I go to start my car the ignition just makes a click, just one click. then one click when the key turns back, everything else I have read here seemed to be battery so I switched out the battery and no joy, same thing, any help please. Its a 2000 s-type v-6, and it its stuck at my work now

 

Bad relay? Bad power / gnd connection/wire? Damp somewhere? Etc. Get busy with a meter....

There's a file to help you probably in the FAQs but the circuit diagrams may be more use if you want to DIY.

 

If all items JagV8 suggests check out to be good it could be your starter - either locked on flywheel or out all together.

 

Thanks for the quick replies guys, I was thinking starter, and a buddy of mine suggested starter. But i've always fit the right answer here so I'd rather go with what I hear here. Will check relays and all tomorrow, won't have time to do any real work on it until this weekend
