hello, 2003 stype r , had this car for 3 years now and today is the 2nd time that i approached my car and the 2 innermost headlights were on... i cant figure out why? it doesnt light,blink,flash with remote key fob... never has, it is a factory fob and alarm to. everything works on car and the auto headlights are turned off as well is the delay..... anybody that can tell me why this occurs or if its some feature i dont know how to use or what. thanks to everyone in advance

 

Next time, walk towards it and press the red button you use to lock it. Umm, don't have my key with me, might be the other red one - try it. Don't press the unlock button until you see what happens with the red(s).

Strange. Mine puts headlights on - helps finding car at night in crowded car parks (parking lots).

 

yes it works now! omg i had no clue that button did that... if i press it turns on, then off.. but if you do it 2 times the alarm goes off and wont turn off unless i put key in and turn ignition on .cant figure out why remote wont turn alarm off??/ i tried pressin all the buttons, any clue on that?

 

It's a panic alarm. Exact features may be a bit weird. All in the handbook I think.

I can't tell from your description?

Mine has a separate red button to turn on the headlights. I have never used it so not sure exactly what it turns on.

I tried it when I read the handbook... 6 years ago! I forget which button it is as I've not found it very useful.
