V6 2004 stype.

The coolant pipe under the hood broke (the piece that keeps the engine cool), it looked old and worn out, how much aprox. Would something like this cost to fix?

It won't cost much if you do it yer self. New/used parts are readily available. You'de need to identify the broken part though.

Um, we need a bit more info... I'm thinking coolant tank connection... Plastic hose T...I don't know...

If you are unsure of what the part is, a picture is worth 1000 words...

There are photos on existing threads so could be worth the OP using Search to see which ones match the one in question.

Don't worry king, we'll get you through this, and at the end you'll smile at how minor it really was...provided you don't drive the car until repaired.

The cost of the part should be minimal. The labor will probably be as much or more than the part.Count on a few hundred bucks unless you do it yourself and probably half the cost. Most things that break on the stype will not be cheap.

On another note the mention of white smoke out the exhaust scares me. Did you peg the temp gauge or get a warning light? I hope you didn't drive far on very low coolant.
You mentioned that you just picked up this car. It should be covered under a short warranty if not a longer one. DON'T drive it anywhere, have it towed. Good luck.
