Great post! I have been kicking around changing to the Hiflo cats and you have helped me make the commitment. I was going to get them from amazon they had the best price at $85 a piece (magnaflo 54975) these guys cut it to $65 apiece and shipping incl.
So thank you ttwotees Santa is coming to my house. Paul

I did the magnaflow hi-flow exhaust and attest to its big gains in throttle response and power.

Guys; My STR is finally back on the road and running like a bat. We found a vacuum leak at the throttle body (somebody in Missouri who was supposedly working over my parts also bored out the pressed tube fitting in the blower intake - nice, huh? *&%$@. and we found a bad spark plug coil, and two wires from one of my O2 sensors were broken away from the pins in the connector to the ECM (what a mess).
With the new engine, I'm now taking it easy, but it feels like mucho power. I'll wait
till it's broken in before going to the dyno.

Default Let's play "Guess the Dyno Figures"

With a new engine, full exhaust mod, and "Stiegemeier Snake Bite" (blower port/polish, and re-gear)...I'm guessin ttwotee's STR is cranking out 465+ chp or 410+ rwhp.

Magnaflow doesn't produce Jaguar specific exhaust components. You just use their hi-flow cats, 2 1/2" x-pipe, 2 1/2" pipe to your choice of mufflers...Magnaflow mufflers if that's what you want.

So if I were to run this same setup on my STR, what kind of gains could I expect? The car is stock besides the airbox baffle removal and a K&N filter.

Wow, +15 with no other change? Riski, what setup do you have in your youtube video? I want to stay away from any highway drone.

Pushing_Tin and all...as far as I know Riski is the original full exhaust modder here. I, like some others here, were initially inspired by his first step in exhaust modding and subsequently tuned our exhaust to our unique experiences, theories, and needs. At the moment it is apparent that I'm a little more inclined than most here to share the intricacies of my experiences as a means for all to benefit. Happy Holidays.
