Default moonroof help

My moonroof started acting dodgy last week. Opened and would not stay closed. I managed to get it closed but it didn't seat properly (drivers side was higher than passenger side). I saw an adjustment tip and followed it. Now I hear gears grinding. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes. Get the JTIS (Shop Manual) and read up on the moon roof.

Yes we are lucky that they are free and on this forum.

Here is the shop manual or JTIS;

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...archive-65998/

The other one you need is the parts catalog or the JEPC;

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...uctions-48194/

Now some people have problems installing these. I did not but want to mention you can get PDF disc's on EBay for about $15 if you don't download and install.

But I am cheap so free plus a bit of effort worked for me!
