Default S type fuel pressure

i am showing 32 on fuel guage at idle on my 2000 jag type s 3.0. What should the pressure be at idle? And does this model have a fuel pressure regulator?

Over 40 psi at idle and yes. When was the fuel filter changed out last?

It has a new fuel pump and filter. It runs perfect and idles perfect but sometimes it will just die at idle and then restart. I also put a new crankshaft sensor on. Where is the fuel regulator located and what does it look like. This is a 6 cylinder.

Default Fuel pressure doesn't change during acceleration

Hello,

I was checking mine as I was getting a lean code and my Fuel Pressure was at 378 kPa at Idle and barely changed with acceleration Manifold pressure was 39kPa, both LT Fuel trims are high at Idle 14% and 17% at idle and then drop quickly with acceleration.

Changed the air filter and MAF was ok for about a week before light came back on.

Sounds like a classic air leak but do you have codes? N.B. they only flag after occurring twice (like many codes).

P0171 and occasionally I get a p0174 but its rare, usually just the P0171

The air filter was terrible and seemed like it hadn't been replaced but it was supposed to have been, I cleaned the MAF and it at first seemed to help but then stopped so I replaced it with a Walker. Then had both codes and saw the MAF was loose so I tightened it and it seemed to be fine for a week or so

If the trims drop on revving it's pretty much got to be one or more air leaks.

It threw me off at first, when I first swapped out the MAF, the LTFT were both at 6.25 at idle, then when I got the car warmed up they jumped to 16.78 and 14.45 at idle
