S-Type Randomly Stopped
My 2003 S-Type was running fine today until it randomly wouldn't start. Not too long before I put in some gas (93 grade as usual) and then drove it for a couple miles before parking it at my destination. I came back to the car about an hour later and tried starting it but it wouldn't work. The battery isn't dead and the car does turn over, but after that the engine will just rumble for a little and then stop. I tried pressing on the gas while starting it too but that doesn't make a difference. I think it might have to do with the gas I put in the tank or the PCM, but I'm not sure.
PCM is last suspect.
If you've had lots of rain and not kept the drains clear then PCM is a suspect.
Far more likely is fuel pump / filter.
BTW what engine???

If you think it could have been bad fuel.. try replacing the fuel filter. It's just behind the left front tire.
I had a problem of my engine dying. I was convinced it was a lack of fuel. But in the end it turned out to be a bad relay (that tested good w/a multi meter and power)
