Have any of you guys had your Jag above 140mph ? I've had mine up to that a few times but run out of road . 3.0l petrol V6 by the way not R or V8.

Dallas, Texas ? You must have long straight roads there to howl on. I'm on the West coast of Scotland and straight bits are few and far between, you just have to boot it when you get the chance.
What size motor is in the V8 ?

The V8 is a 4.0 and I'm guessing that kit1 is in Europe because the US version is limited at 121 MPH :`( I've taken it to 121 pretty easily and with much to go, but I plan to change the limit pretty soon.

Sure am man, Bonnie Scotland. I was looking to tune my Jag up a bit but no one seems to be able to give me some suppliers or info for superchipping etc. But if it keeps snowing here I'll be looking for a set of tyre chains soon. Lol

i dont know about yours. but mine aint limited. i had it going over 150 when my fiance screamed her lungs out while i was racing some kid on my way home from atlantic city in nj. i was on the i-95 garden state parkway. i have a 00 v6 s-type with the sport package. and the car handled amazing. and never cut out. i still had about 2 grand left of 5th gear. infact i won that race.
I was thinking the same thing, as I was reading biggie post. I was messing around with a coworker, who was on his bike doing 130 mph he later told me. I never did look down to see how fast I was going, but I was gaining on him. It was the first time driving the S to work and I wanted to floss a lil bit. By the way it was late at night and no one was on the road, we work the graveyard shift. This car picks up speed surprisingly quick.

I broken 145+ a few times, late at night and on a straight stretch of road near where I live (Atlanta GA) I had to slam the brakes on one time and the car went nuts, the Brembos appear to be too good for the car which is a 2005 S type R.

You guys are brave. I had mine up to 120 on the I-95 heading to VA from New York. It didn't feel maxed out at all. Excellent handling. (2000 S-Type V8) Had to slow it down because I've seen too many brothas getting pulled over in my day. Plus at those speeds if you get pulled over, you're not going home. Neither is your car. Too risky.

They arrest you and impound ure car for just speeding even if ure not racing? that sux, in California you usually just get a ticket for reckless driving, and then later on they take away ure license for aa little while, only in rare cases are cars impounded.

Thats if they have stolen parts on their car, even if its just one small part, the cars get crushed! It was just on the news the other day, they showed about 5 cars gettin crushed, and the owners were there to watch
