Slideshow - The "S" button you are referring to is related to the transmission - it simply raises the shift points. I believe all S Types have the "S" button.
The "Sports" Package is different.

Yes, I had the same question about the sports package or not since I had the "S" button on the console... on my last trip to the dealer I asked the service lady and she was not sure so ran the VIN in their computer and as Abanono said it is only for
the transmission. Be aware though that since this gives you extra power it takes
extra gas (as I found out the expensive way when I accidentally had it on for a couple of weeks) so guess if you are willing to pay for power it is a good thing. Incidentally, for anyone living in the Roanoke, Va. area I highly recommend the dealership I use... CROSSROADS OF ROANOKE... great people to deal with.
