Default Pinstripes

Does anyone know of a supplier for the thin style stripes down the side of the car. There’s a guy on eBay but he’s a bit expensive and sng don’t have complete sets, . Don’t want to pay a fortune for tape but would l8ke to try and keep it something like. Many thanks.

A body shop I have used had a local signmaker make the stripes.

I would try Jaguar Heritage parts or a very large dealer in the UK. They all had part numbers and at least in the US you get lucky at times. Last use I had I simply ordered a set (although you need all part numbers as there is no "set" number). Good luck!

The thin line is part of the stripe. It is way easier to apply this way and have both lines look right, readily available.

Sidescrollin... what is the source for the pinstripe roll? Jaguar Heritage Parts no longer stocks the coachline strips.

Halfords sell pinstripes of varying widths. I have used them for my Jaguar XE when I had it.

Once again thanks. I have bought a roll from an old stockist which is silver and red. Will try that and then if it’s not upto muster might get the ones on eBay. Bit dear though nearly £100 with post for a bit of tape. We will see.

I'd go with the full complete set from eBay. I picked up some partial pinstripes from Jaguar Heritage around 18 months ago & it turned out I got the wrong colour... there are 2 varieties of the red/silver later thin type... If I recall correctly the two variants are called Pewter (which is darker silvery-grey) and Quicksilver, with slightly different variations of red for each.

The Jaguar stock was also very old, & not all of it was available even then - the parts you definitely needed were the front wing sections. You could make up the door/rear front wing sections from lengths of rear quarter panel if you could get them.
