Default VCAT Location x100

I have a 1998 xk8, now that I learned what VCAT label is, can someone tell me exactly where in the trunk it is located.

It's in the spare tire well. Mine is on the left-hand side.

Thanks for the photo, I found my label in the well directly under trunk latch....makes me wonder if the workers were just doing random placements just for fun....

ALL 4.0 X100 need the VCATS and were fitted. Maybe the label got obliterated at some point?
I have a salvage X308 with a missing label due to a rear end collision and repair.
At least I have WDS and IDS to interrogate all the modules for the VCATS info.

I have ids so I need to check on interrogating the modules. Also, I have a replacement abs to install. I understand from one of your other posts that it will need to be configured. I suspect my current abs may be the root of my CAN issues due to heat.

The ABS module for X100 from VIN A00083 or X308 from VIN F00035 is JLM21323 with the BLUE solenoid actuators.
They are the same so if you want a used part you have both XK and XJ to choose from that makes for a larger pool of parts.
Repairing your current module is preferable unless it is damaged beyond repair.
