Morning gentlemen, I was wanting some opinions. I currently have a 2013 XJL Portfolio, but I've been wanting something more fun. I've decided to stick with Jaguar in this endeavor, but I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I've been looking at a F-Type V8-S convertible, but I know Jaguar is making a F-Type R convertible. I'll be driving the F-Type Coupe R in a few hours (It's currently 5:30 am here in MD) so I know what the difference is from driving the V8S and the R. I love the V8S, but I'm thinking about possibly waiting for the R convertible. So ultimately I'm asking, do you think I should wait for the R convertible or go ahead and get the V8S. I would like some opinions from you fine folk to help me on this decision!

 

Never rush a car purchase - wait for what you want. Ultimately you will be happier.

Well I had the gentlemen that has been helping me contact Jaguar and see if they can give any information on when it'll be released, but to no avail. They said they don't have any information to give at this time, so I'll be waiting for a while it seems.

And yeah, haha. I like the Coupe don't get me wrong, but I love the convertible. I actually saw a V8S F-type Convertible at the Annapolis C&C this morning, exactly how I want mine. Firesand metallic, black interior with orange stitching, Blade Wheels, Black package, Meridian Surround, flat bottomed steering wheel, everything!

 

That sounds amazing! I do hope you share your pics when you get her. I'm new, never heard of Firesand Metallic, I'll have to look that up.
