Looking for great Indy in MD.
In the past I've taken my Jag to the Chantilly, Va. dealership. Am looking for someone closer to home on the other side of the river in Maryland. Web search led me to several shops but I have no knowledge of their businesses...is anyone familiar with the following:
BA (British American) Auto Care, Inc. in Columbia, Md.
Master Auto Service Jaguar Specialist in Rockville, Md.
Top Line Jag Repair in Springfield, Va
Any input to these or others offered by our members is greatly appreciated. BTW, this is for my 2013 XFR-S.

Vette, if you are interested in learning some about your car, let me know. Come on over to my place and we can work on your car and take care of a majority of things. I am down in California, MD. So, it would probably be about a 90 minute drive for you. This way, you know things are getting done to your standards.
I just got my first Jag. 2002 xj sport. Used master to do the pre purchase inspection. They did a good job, but missed some minor issues. Not sure if these are not part of the inspection.
I'm looking for someone local to help me dyi a few issues. Loose rear view mirror and headlights going off when using the turn signal. Anyone close to Rockville? Thanks.

Scott, I work on the cars all the time. But, I am not what I would call close. I am down in California, MD (an hour south of DC). I could help you figure out the problems that you have and I have the diagrams for your car. So, we can get you back to where you want to be.
As for the headlights, I would be looking at the grounds for the headlights. What you are describing sounds a lot like a bad ground and your headlights are finding an alternate path for a ground that when you put on the turn signals, it takes that path away. As for the rear view mirror, that is going to be either removing the mirror and re-gluing the pad to the windshield or there is a screw loose inside and tightening it up.

You might want to look at Hunt Valley Eurocars of I-83 in the Hunt Valley area. They are great with Jaguars (one of their specialties) and do thorough work at a very reasonable price. http://Www.huntvallyeurocar.com
Hi Chris,
Brand new to the forum, just bought my 01 XK8 yesterday. Are you conversant with these models? Mostly grew up in Hollywood (not quite a SMIB but close!), been in Northern Virginia since about '99. Planning to make my first visit to St. Mary's since covid in the next couple weeks. Would be happy to meet up while I'm visiting if you're interested.
Thanks, Brian

let me know when you are in the area. we can meet up. i am not versed in the xk's, but there is enough that i can do most of what you would need. if there is is something you are looking to do, let me know and we can discuss.
I don't know if you found a shop. I use Prestige Auto Performance at 3840-2 Dupont Avenue, Kensington, MD. 301-942-0383. Hasi is the owner and has two mechanics who have worked at Jaguar Bethesda before it got sold to Autonation which sucks. He's very familiar with Jaguars and Landrovers and does quality work and guarantees it.
harry, you posted this info in an earlier thread and I did visit them with a CEL and was impressed with Hasi so I’ll be taking some work to him in near future. Like Topline in Springfield, Va it tuff to get in/out of because of all the vehicles around the shops location. I liked Topline but it’s a pain in the butt to get to. Hasi mentioned he hadn’t seen you in a while.
