This was a big adventure when I designed figured the wiring for
the Xj, X-type and S-type when i had nothing to do in 2020 when Covid hit.
The manufacturer worked along with me while I was testing them and adding
different features it was a fun journey bored in 2020 and now it's real
I made it so anyone can install it

may i ask you a technical question which i think only you can answer?.
maybe 40% of the times i turn the unit on i get the screen you see below, there seems no pattern as to when it boots to this screen or the regular home screen.
i have been texting with the suppliers tech team who have been helpful with other issues, but after several texts on this issue they are now saying this is normal. that doesnt fly with me at all, especially due to the random nature.
its not the end if the world but it is irritating for such an expensive item...any input?...

i just tried but of course it booted up normal lol.

The reason that comes up is due to low battery voltage, especially if you do small trips
and the alternator didn't get chance to fully charge your battery
