Last week i went over a hump in a friends yard and broke the plastic tube coming from the top of the fuel pump casing that quick connects to the tube that leads to the tank side of the fuel filter. see picture.
does anyone have / or know where to just order the exterior casing? - my fuel pump itself work fine .
Absolutely. But I believe it's a solid piece on the top under the plastic ring. I was wondering I it's possible to only purchase the top only ? Can't find that part only anywhere
I took out the pump and welded it using a hot knife by melting the plastic and i used an extra piece of plastic to strengthen the joints.
It has been working since..... But in your case, since it is all broken, i do not know if that will work, you can try, if you have already cut an opening under the back seat for the pump, then it is worth a try, but if you are doing this by the book, then get a new pump.
i used Pattex Extreme.
to cover the welded area, stayed clear of the tip.
I was finally able to get to the issue this weekend. the elbow was broken exactly at the elbow. I was able to sand down most of the pertruding edges of the lower part and placed a PCV elbow and some Permatek Motoseal ( petrol resistant) to seal. see below.
Interesting solution. I hope it works for you. I just replaced my fuel pump for about $55.00 on ebay. You posted part of this, the pic in your first post in that thread. It looks like you already have done the work around to get access, if that doesn't hold, replace the pump. Your mostly there.

55 for the whole assembly? I'm sure it was used. Or did you only replace the round elongated pump itself?
I always wanted the fuel pump access from inside the car but Jaguar did not offer that option. (like the X200 and X350)
We always had to drop the tank assy.
If it was my car I would likely do it that way but customers don't always want the car cut and 'modified'.
