Default clock set after battery disconnect does not work

After, following your wonderful advices, I had no P 0420 MIL problem as per Bank 1 O2 sensors replacement at least until now, for about 500 miles, I also followed your advice with replacing with original, my bulged radiator top hose. Mona runs great but...
... here are my new problem: as the mechanic who replaced the hose had to disconnect the battery, my clock now shows very incorrect time. I followed the instructions (press, hold MODE until TA volume is displayed (which TA never came up but) I got until CLOCK SET was displayed but then the MODE did not listen to any of my requests, no PM vs. AM, no change from 12 Hrs (which was ok), but especially no change for 6:00 pm to 10:30 am, which I needed, either through seek up/seek down or numeric key punching. Would you please tell me if there is any fix to this clock's non-obedience of the recommended steps which I know? The mechanic whom I would have asked to fix this problem as he was the one who got me into is in NY and Mona and I are in PA for a good while now. Thank you.
And again, thank you so much for helping me with the radiator hose and sensors replacements problems.

Here's a link to a YouTube video explaining how to set the clock:

Search is a wonderful thing. In the time it took to type the question, you could find the answer.

Alfadude, thanks for the video that does nothing more than I did. As said, I tried all these steps, which I knew, but the buttons of the numbers do not work. I wanted to know why the buttons do not work after battery disconnect, not how a Jaguar x type clock is set. I was hoping that somebody knows why this happens. Anyway thank you.

Mister Dell, I appreciate your software calculation of my typing question time. Sadly, you never give a productive answer to anything I say (Just being nasty does not replace an answer or a proof that you actually read what I write. In English, not French)

My point is, as with many new people, they just ask instead of doing any pro-active searching.

Mon point est, comme avec beaucoup de nouvelles personnes, ils demandent juste au lieu de faire une recherche pro-active.

So here is CONSTRUCTIVE advice. If you are ABSOLUTELY sure you are following the set clock instructions correctly, do a "hard reset" and try again.

I know, I know, what is a "hard reset"

Disconnect BOTH battery cables, touch the ends together, reinstall. This is a "hard reset".

Do the number buttons and the arrow buttons on the keypad work when trying to change radio stations? If so, then you at least know the buttons work. If they work, then there should be no reason why you wouldnt be able to chnage the time. If they do not work, then it could be a number of issues, like moisture getting in there and corroding the contacts. If that would be the case, then probably the simplest thing to do is buy a new display assembly.
