Default Driveline help?

Can any one help me, driving to work and my rear driveline bolt broke off. can I extract the studs and replace new bolts or get a whole new drive line. suggestions welcome.

There is not enough of the rear CV left to bolt to the flange.
Looks like a new CV joint or good/used propshaft is in your future.

I haven't seen a cv joint connected to the rear diff, but ill have to do more research.

Looks like all the CV '*****' are GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bob thanks for the info but I was mistaken on the terminology, this is the center driveline not axles.

The propshaft uses Constant Velocity Joints instead of Universal Joints.
The CV AXLES ALSO use the same type of joint.
No mistake in terminology.

Constant Velocity is a type of joint, not a complete axle or shaft.

Thank you Bob, now that makes sense. I was confusing the joint. Any way to order that joint, or would it be best order a new drive shaft. Looking at that joint I only have the metal o ring left.

Do search for DrDme. He is a forum member who parts out the X-types. He will have everything you need.

Replace the whole center axle and new bolts and nuts.
