So I have an 02 model with non automatic headlights n I bough a used switch that has the automatic headlight function, i see that both switches are ideidentical and have the same wiring. I connected the new one with the auto headlights but they're not working, is there something else I'm missing can someone please help. I also want to know what are km button functions ?

You won't have the sensors which are built into the rear view mirror.

Thank you sir, now I notice that I do have the auto dim rearview mirror but I don't see that rain sensor, now I figure that the auto light switch would be operated by a sensor that's on the windshield anti fog vents inside the cabin, correct me if I'm wrong, wouldn't that triggered the auto lights function ? Or what exactly do I have to modify or add so that my auto light switch could work ?

Eden, the light sensor is in the rear view mirror. So, you need to upgrade your rear view mirror to the one with the light sensor to make the auto headlights work.

Eden, the M/KM button is for switching the instrument cluster digital indication between miles (American) and kilometers (the rest of the world). Push the button and watch the instrument cluster change indications for the trip and mileage.
