Default Heater Panel Dead

The panel that houses the heater control, heated rear screen switch and a/c switch on my 2003 x-type 2.5 Sport is dead apart from the fan switch which works. The other switches and buttons don't even light up. I have checked the fuse boxes and cant identify any blown fuses although access is hellish under the dash. The user manual is not helpful in identifying a common fuse or relay that might be responsible for the above.

So I am wondering, do I have one problem like a blown relay or several problems?

Any wisdom would be appreciated.

The electrical guide is a free download here or on JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource

Just to close this one off - the problem was a blown fuse. I had started off with the intention of disconnecting the alarm sounder which according to my research is sometimes responsible for the fuse blowing. However just replacing the fuse did the trick on its own - for the moment anyway.

Happy Chappy!
