Exclamation Help with identifying this part

I'm not sure what this part is called but I'm sure it needs to be replaced... my check engine light is on as well as I'm experiencing a loss of power when accelerating when the "cruise not available" light is on... Just recent;y took the vehicle to be serviced and the mechanic there pointed this out to me. ANY and ALL help is greatly appreciated. Never noticed it before now, I'm guessing one of the "reputable" placed I took my vehicle to previously did some "top notch" repair work to my baby.

Actual photo from my car with piece "taped up"

photo pulled from internet showing engine and where part is located

That is one of the parts RockAuto has for the X400. Forum sponsors also sell the part.

That is the Brake booster line complete With Check valve. The check valve is the round part in the middle.

Ebay has the whole thing for about 20 dollars.

To remove the line you need to push the outside ring down into the manifold and that lets go of the tube, do not try to force it out.

Carefully remove the plastic hose with check valve and install rubber hose for fuel injection. There is no need for check valve(I think), most cars don't have them.
