i'm glad i held out for the color combination and sport version i wanted, took 2 months, but worth it!, a few minor mods to come. Never had a car i didn't want to mod like mad before.Jaguar did a good job on this, kept many of the lines from the XJ6

Nice, you should swap wheels with the dude with the new black rims!

So now that you looked and found an inexpensive X (at least purchase price) are you totalling everything you have spent so far getting it road worthy? I'd be interested in finding out how much the car actually cost to get on the road without suspension, brake and all the assorted issues you've had.

so far....
Royal Purrple transmission oil...40
Mobil synthetic 75/140 TC oil...18
2x rear control arms....198
2 front ball joints...55
brake pads (2 axle) ...55
battery...105

X purchase price...6200
so total spent on a reliable ride...6691

learning bout my ride......priceless...lol

next are tires..like the pads...going cheap for now....$400
black sidemarker lights....40.

I liked those black rims, but i also like the jag rims i already have...i've done the aftermarket rim on every vehicle i've owned...inc 4 wheeler...I'll keep these for a while, i'm trying to get away from the gangster look :+)
though i will replace the center badges with black jag replacements

They would look trick, but then you'll start down the slippery Jeremy slope. If you need new rims, might as well go for the 20s, then it would look better with a bit more offset, damn the tuck is perfect if only I could drop it a little.

As you can see I have the stock wheels still. Same as yours, but in the winter I run black steel rims with snows, and it does look tough, black on black on black.........

I wish I could find a drop spring to go down about an inch tops. then I'd space the rims out a touch. But I'm still starting with the engine compartment. Trouble is I'm selling my house and moving, and there is a LONG list of things to do on the house before it hits the market in a month.
