Default steel wheels for 2003 x-type 2.5

I want to buy a set of steel wheel rims for snow tires. The size if tire would be 205/55R16 92H. The steel wheel size is 6.5x16 as stated in the manual. I want to get a set of used steel rims but I need to know what make of car matches the closest to this size that would fit the car. Are any of the ford or mazda makes that would fit this car, preferably ford as they may be easier to get.

What's this snow you speak of?

Sorry, couldn't resist...it was still 90 today.

Why steel wheels specifically? The bolt pattern is 5x108, but I can't give a pointer on the ET.
I also thought about getting steel wheels for my winter tires, but then found an irresistible deal (390USD for 4 alloys & barely-used winter tires with 7mm tread). Too bad they're shiny black, but...

Howdy! I'm new to Jaguar scene and i drive Benz currently and have been for years (G-Wagen 500 and 55AMG/300E/350 4matic/190E/ML320/ML500/500SEC/CL5504m and etc)... If found a gem of a Jaguar and I could not resist this vehicle as the history and mileage was perfect for me, so i bought it on the spot with out inspection! Anyhow long and short... Living in Canada it's absolutely awful driving with the 2225/45/R17 MO Conti Eco tire sport and I've always run a winter tire pkg!

DILEMMA: One dealer where I reside and it's like pulling teeth as they want to do nothing more than quote me retail and "take it or leave it attitude". So I'm needing help can I put the following on my minty 2006 Jaguar X-type 3.0 AWD with 16" steel rims and/or 15" steel rims as I really need to drive in the snow and cruddy potholes from Mars but Ford and Jaguar dont seem to know left from right and provide me with a firm answer!

Any of you jag motorheads want to take a jab and help this new guy out to the Jag family???.

Much appreciated.

I believe some variety of Volvo wheels fit our cars. They may be more available in junk yards then actual X-Type wheels...

The Ford Mondeo in Europe - North American models marketed as the Ford Contour and Mercury Mystique until 2000.
These too might fit. Worth checking out as Jaguar was in Ford hands in those years and quite a few Ford parts fit.
There may be newer Ford models that have suitable wheels but I am not familiar enough with the USA Fords.

You will need a full set of wheel nuts for steel wheels.

I'll go along with henry k on this one . As the X type was a Ford product at the time it has about 15% Mondeo. Contour . Mystique in it Its built on a modified Mondeo platform & the rear suspension is tweaked Mondeo Station wagon . I believe some rear braking components are Ford Mondeo . I belive I read on a UK forum that the steel Contour wheels should fit....however worth a double check !!
