Default Wrong outside temp reading after Nav upgrade

Please Help.
Just completed installing a Factory nav upgrade Everything is working great
apart from the outside temp is reading about 10-15 deg F lower that what the actual temp is.

is there any way to calibrate this?

thanks in advance

I don't think so. May just be a bad sensor.

Now I am confused..

I replaced the original dash temperature controls (non nav)
and the outside temp is now reading -40F

replaced the HVAC module and now I am reading about 5F lower than outside temp a lot closer 82 before the switch 86 now. wife's car parked beside me is reading 91.

why would my original unit that was reading correct temp be so far off now?
any ideas???

guess i will have to clean the terminals and see what happens.

-40 may be the same as not connected.
