Hey, Dennis super delayed I know man but know where I can get that connector? Or do you have an extra you wouldn't mind selling? Thanks in advance either way. Also, I tried the icar OBD and it seems to no long be supported. I bought two and neither seemed to connect by wifi or Bluetooth(though I can see why Bluetooth wouldn't work). Any other recommendations besides iCar pro?
Awesome man but of course I can at least reimburse you for your time, but either way, man thanks! Ill DM an address if that will work? Also, I saw the video, and though I really hate using the word(Im a daytime tech guy currently doing software engennering) I think I got a defective one and I rather not waste my time troubleshooting more than I have. Maybe I just bought from a bad seller so if you can post where you got yours that would be awesome. Also, the radio has been great so far No problems besides not being able to change the cluster clock which is a bit annoying.. But again thanks!
Glad to see you are on these forums . Recently made a comment on your videos and commented on the miss-matching of the aluminium look .
I'll be following you here... interesting to see your progress and the how those small bugs will be fixed (if ever).
Thanks for making the effort and showing all this info!
A little off topic but have a question regarding the trim you had to cut for fitment Dennis.
Just ordered the 10" tesla screen for the X260 from Canavie (let them know it was your videos that put me on to them, also had them confirm issues discussed in this thread were not still ongoing).
The trim is plastic so should not be too hard of a job. Would just like to know if you had any tips that would prevent me from destroying the end and if a normal circular saw would work well for the job. Assuming it will not be easy to get a replacement if it were to go south.
theres no triming for the x250 or x260 they are direct plug and play bolt in install ,the only trimming i had to do was for a 2005 jaguar x-type my daily driver for the XF x260 this is the unit

I'll have to take a better look at it when it arrives but seems the piece of trim that runs from the passenger side and cuts the infotainment screen / ac controls in half has to be trimmed on the x260 (unless it comes with replacement trjm but wouldn't think so). The section I have highlighted in red above is what I am talking about needing to be removed.
