Default 2009 xf tire replacement

Been away for some time but need a little advise. 55,000 of my 2009 XF supercharged. After a lot of research I am leaning towards same tire and new wheels all the way around.
The question is will 275x45x19 tires and the 19" wheels fit on the front and rear? If not, then what?

Don't believe so. The tires on supercharged are staggered. And 19 would be an issue with the Larger brakes on the 09 supercharged.

Thanks for the answer. Wanting a smother ride and mine is a DD until someone wants to play----we still do that in Texas.

Are you sure? I thought the 2009 XF Supercharged (which has the older 4.2 V8) had the mid size 355mm rotors on the front and was fine with 19inch wheels
Think it's the 2010 onwards SC (5.0 V8) that has the big 380mm brakes and can't fit most 19inch wheels

Can someone with a 2009 SUpercharged look and confirm? Or the OP can measure rotor size

Rears are a lot smaller and no problems with 19inch wheels

Thanks for the info. I think I read something agreeing with you. As far as me measuring the front roter, I am 75 in May and if I got down to measure I would need someone to get my butt back up. Lets hope someone here will measure them for us. Thanks again

354.838 is the diameter = 13.97 inches. Now, can I put the 275/45/19 tires on the 2009 Jag XF

No need to measure, the brake size for both the 355 mm and 380 mm front brakes is shown right on the edge of the caliper bracket.
Also the 355 and 380 caliper brackets look different to each other with the 380 caliper bracket having a "thinner" inside edge than the 355.
Once you get familiar with the different looks of the 355 vs 380 brackets and calipers you can spot which is which a mile away!

Here we go, yet another reason the 4.2 SC is a better DD. Yes you can even fit 18 inchers it just depends how much they fill out to the inside so any candidate OEM rim has to be fit on a trial and error basis. Nobody does this so they assume it's impossible, but if you have a cooperative junk yard near to you with some options I think it is worth exploring. Only drawback is a lot of Jag wheels are out-of-round at that stage so need to make sure they can be brought back for refund/exchange if they are found not to be true.

Running costs seriously drop, I mean I replaced all 4 wheels and new tires for the cost of a single good quality new 20" tire. The tire brand selections open immensely, I went with Nexen and upsized for more even more side wall just the speedometer reads a bit slow.

I notice no handling difference in street driving but comfort and road noise is vastly improved. Night and day difference compared to the crappy Dunlops my car came with. You can also properly rotate wheels front to back for even wear. Hope this helps.

Much help, thank you. I thought the 19's would work but wondering about the 275/45/19 tires. Went from 40's to 45's on my SRT-10 and it made a huge difference in ride.
