Default 2011 XF S/C Wood Trim

So I just took delivery of my new 2011 XF S/C vehicle over the weekend and I have to say this is an amazing vehicle. One thing I noticed on a part of my wood trim is this black mark/blemish. It's not a scratch on the surface because it's perfectly smooth, so I can only assume this is a scratch on the wood itself. Do any of you have this defect and I should be able to get this replaced at the dealership, right?

As a side note, driving the vehicle back from nyc I hit a pothole and now I think there's a slight vibration on the steering wheel when going around 60mph or so. Not huge, but slightly annoying. I'll have to have the dealership check the wheel balance. Hoping the rims aren't bent. This sucks cause the vehicle only has like 700 miles on it.

Congrats on your new purchase.

If you have the stock pirelli tires your vibration may not be due to the pothole. Those pirelli's are known for flat spotting. I read a ton of reviews complaining about that issue with that tire. After a few miles the vibration normally goes away. If it doesn't go away then bring the car to a tire shop to have the tires balanced. I wouldn't even think about driving my XF in the winter (Minneapolis). Potholes are forming everywhere due to this horrible winter.

If it was a deep pothole that caused a really sharp impact to the suspension, you probably have a bent rim. The 20 inch rims don't like potholes.
