Default Aftermarket spark plugs

Can anyone recommend any brand of aftermarket spark plugs they have used and their experience for a 2010 XF Premium NA?

Rock Auto spark plugs for my XKR and not a problem. Saved heaps, even with shipping to OZ. Many of us are now buying from Ali Express: https://www.aliexpress.com/premium/j...itch_new_app=y

As with anything, you need to shop around.

Is that the right plug for a NA 5.0 L? I thought that was the SC one.

And I think the OP was looking for a cheaper yet good plug. The NGKs are OE for that engine.

Can you trust that they are not knock off plugs?

Yes, it's gonna work either supercharged and NA. And I didn't check the prices, just updated the price!

Unfortunately, reports of counterfeit products such as NGK and Denso spark plugs have surfaced on ebay, Amazon and other online retailers.
As with any purchase, "let the buyer beware".

Is Ali Express trust worthy?

I've been buying from them for over a year and never had a problem. I needed a new external boot/trunk opening button a few months ago. The Jaguar dealer wanted $73. Ford uses the identical switch for the tailgate on their SUV's. Ali Express had the Ford switch for $12. I've never purchased spark plugs from them but I have from Rock Auto.

Spark plugs last for quite awhile. How many years will it be before they need replacing again? The difference in price between the least expensive and most expensive is roughly $35 for eight spark plugs. You usually get what you pay for. I would go with the NGK plugs. Just my personal opinion. YMMV.

Anyone else want to vote for NGK?

Yep, me.
From all my research ( a lot!) NGK are the best plugs you can get.

Agreed - NGK. They last 100K miles and just work.

It's not worth saving 32 dollars (you can get them for 9 each) on something that will probably last longer than your motor.

Thanks for the recommendation everyone. Can someone point me to a good DIY to replace spark plugs for my XF?

As with so many DIYs, @Bigg Will has done a great guide on this. It's tight, but doable. You'll find you have to release wiring connectors one at a time to get enough clearance and things, but if you go careful you won't have any issues.
