Default Black smoke after driving for 2 miles - RESOLVED

Any idea why an XF would smoke (black) after being driven for 2 miles but never smoke on idle? Like new engine replacement, no CEL, engine torque or sound not affected, oil level ok

Oil overfilled ?
The problem with no dipstick is that you can't see if it is overfilled.

Usually black is over fuelling if it is a gasoline engine. What engine is in your car?

Oil level is okay according to the display panel, and it only smokes after it has been driven for 2 miles.

It's a petrol engine, what could be the cause of the overfuelling when driven?

So is this a 3.0L Supercharged engine? Have you just had a new engine installed? Are you saying that you have no warning lights on the dash? Are you saying that the engine otherwise runs normally with respect to power, smoothness and no strange noises? How long do you see black smoke for? Is the black smoke coming out of the exhaust tail pipes? How much black smoke is there? Does it go away if you run the car for 5miles,20 miles,3 hours?
Does it smoke regardless of throttle position? Or just when you give it full throttle? What is instantaneous fuel consumption reading compared to what was normal before the black smoke started?

So is this a 3.0L Supercharged engine? Yes
Have you just had a new engine installed? Yes
Are you saying that you have no warning lights on the dash? No warning light
Are you saying that the engine otherwise runs normally with respect to power, smoothness and no strange noises? Correct, runs smoothly
How long do you see black smoke for? Once it starts, it doesn't stop till the engine cools
Is the black smoke coming out of the exhaust tail pipes? Yes
How much black smoke is there? A lot, quite embarrassing
Does it go away if you run the car for 5miles,20 miles,3 hours? It doesn't
Does it smoke regardless of throttle position? Yes
Or just when you give it full throttle? Smokes more when throttle is pressed
What is instantaneous fuel consumption reading compared to what was normal before the black smoke started? Around city 16mpg...ltft on both banks are negative.

Just figured it out, smoking was due from the oil and coolant residue left in the exhaust by the blown engine.
