Default check engine light intermittent

I have a 2009 supercharged Jaguar xf. The check engine light wll come on then after several restarts go off. The code says it is the MAF, but we have already had this changed. My husband has reset and cleared the warning light but I continue to have it come on then go out after restarting 3-4 times. Why does it do this? Is there something we are missing?
Thanks Reddeb

Try cleaning the throttle body. Could be gummed up, butterfly not moving as it should.

Could be an air leak under the intercoolers if that wasn't previously repaired while under warranty. There's a foam gasket that leaks. Unfortunately, it can be expensive to get at because the intercoolers have to come out to fix this.

Was thinking about something else you can check. I know you had the MAF changed out, but check the electrical connector for any corrosion and make sure it is a tight connection.

My husband said it was code number P010B.
Thanks for replies, it has been off now for a few days. I expect it back on by sometime tomorrow.

That is a MAF out of range code. It could still be a bad connection senerio, or as jagular has suggested an air leak. Provided you didn't get a bad new part, when the MAF was replaced. That happens too. If your lucky the light will remain off, good luck.

Default back on

The light is back on. It seems to do it at regular entervals. Guess I'll take it in for a mechanic to look at if this keeps up.
There doesn't seem to be any issue with the way it runs. Thats good.
Thanks again!

I had same problem with my 2009 XF supercharged. .. it was a vacuum leak. The supercharger bypass hose was cracked . My friend had the same issue with his 2010 XF supercharged......Its #11 in diagram
