Need help identifying the part # to replace my license plate bulb to match the reverse LEDS on a 2012 XFR. Also if possible the part # for the lights under the side view mirrors to match in the same color. Thanks

They are T10...same as overhead inside, footwells, mirror flood lamps, licence plate, inside the trunk, the light by the headlights, glove box.

I have all 15 ready and waiting to put in once I get a chance and the weather turns around. Put the license plate bulbs in they were super easy and look much better. Tried white and red and like the white a lot more.

Looking to do vleds only in the license plate area.

Which vled model did everyone here go with? I want something with the 5k light range, but want the same brightness as stock so it isn't glaringly obvious that the lights are aftermarket.

I was initially looking at these but they could be too bright.

I got all of mine from ebay. Most came from China and were good quality. Even found the ones for the interior mirrors. Cree are the brightest.

Cant take the credit for this, but there is a 5 LED version of that light that has been recommended for interior use by other forum members.

Without a lens of some kind, LEDs are directional. The ones that have one LED should be mounted directed to a lens. Putting the single LED lamps in place of the incandescent ones that use a reflector from the side do not work very well. The reflector style lamp holders need an LED that shines in multiple directions. This was the case on most of the lamp mountings on my car. I used multiple SMD LED T10 lamps to create a better light radiance.

Crap, thanks. Was wondering about that but didn't want something too bright. I'll see if I can cancel the order and swap it with a different model.

I have found that when replacing with LEDs, you don't find many that are TOO bright. The only ones I got that were too bright was replacing the footwell lights. I bought SMD board style lights that had 24 LEDs on them. I toned them down by coloring them with a blue permanent marker and they look very good.
