My female accomplice just picked up a '16 XJL Portfolio, and I noticed that there seems to be a missing emblem on the left rear door just behind the door handle. Before we contact the dealer, I'd like to make absolutely sure that there should be a Jaguar emblem in this location. Thanks!
William, thank you for the quick reply. This was a CPO, so we're going to see what the dealer we got it from is willing to do. If they're not willing to help, I'll give you a call and we can go from there.
IMHO CPO should replace any missing trim should be covered.
huh? How do you figure CPO covers theft losses? This is a dealer item. They can either do the right thing and get a new one or say too bad not our problem. CPO is not involved.
My apologies, I was under the impression that the trim was missing when they went to the dealer to pickup their "new" car and in that instance it would be a covered item.

How do you figure CPO covers "missing" items? If I tell them my upgraded wheels were missing, will they give me a new set of those too?
I wasn't there when she picked it up, but the car been in her possession for five days and if it was stolen, it was stolen before she picked it up. It's just a $50 part so if the dealer doesn't want to cover it, no skin off my sack. I got what I came here for; you guys can talk amongst yourselves.

I doubt it was stolen and I suspect the dealer will cover it. But the CPO warranty will not.
