Looks like a lot of work and really good mods, please tell me .....
I see you have changed the grille from chrome to black, does the whole front section have to come off? I know it does to add the DRL'S, Ardens I presume?
Did you paint the chrome or replace it.
Thanks in advance.

The clock on my 2014 bothers me. I wish we had options, as it's the focal point of the interrior. It's so blahhh....

Jaguar lovers all speak the same language, and your command of the English language is to be admired. Your photographs, and the modifications you did, are all excellent. I would do the exact same modifications to my Jaguar, except for the expense. But you did them, so now everyone can see and enjoy the results. Thank you very for sharing your work with us!

I really love your car mods. My Jaguar XJ is just like yours even the rims is the same. do you really need to take off the bumper off just to change the side LED? i wish i know where to buy the parts. you are one lucky owner.

Normally I find aftermarket modifications look cheap and tacky, but these really do look good!

I noticed that your mods were extensive, and had a lot of thought and taste put into them. I especially love the clock change (awesome, at first I wondered why would somebody want to change that elegant clock)? I then saw what you replaced it with, and understood the rationale.
As for your tailpipe extenders, they have clips on them, which suggests "no welding". Is this true, and were these pipes expensive?
Thanks, and thank you for sharing the mods. I have the same car, and was considering lightly tinting windows and a few things over time (minor, as I promised my wife I wouldn't pour a lot more $$$ into the car, lol). After 37 years of marriage, I learned to be loyal to each others promises :-)!

Thanks again, and your use of the english language is very good!
Joe

I Joe, thank !

For tailpipe extenders, it's only clips and screw, no welding.
The price is amazing for this parts 450$ for both

Very nice job that has made your Jaguar distinctive and distinguished. I noted in viewing your pictures that there are two mods that you haven't mentioned that you made and that is the front splitter and rear spoiler from the Speed Package and the shift knob is leather capped. Drive it in good health. How much of the work did you perform?

I agree. The original clock is beautiful, but the hour and minute pointers are difficult to see, and therefore, it is not easy to tell what the time is, the basic purpose of a clock.

Therefore I would also like to know the cost of the Ultimate clock, and also the labor cost to have it installed in place of the original.

Thank you again for the pictures of your modified XJL; everything you did was very good!

Hi .... Thank

The Ultimate clock cost 200$ (SKU# C2D25421)
If you break the older, you need 10 minutes to change !

Default are the side skirts aftermarket?

or are they dealer stock from the XJR?

What is the price for the skirts?

Also did you replace all your trim including the front windshield area in the carbon fiber? It looks like you just replaced only the door trim and didn't bother with the dash trim. What did the carbon kit cost you? I currently have black walnut and was wondering if there was anything I could do with my removed trim if I swapped it. Jags are so rare theres probably no secondary market for the trim like BMW.

Very nice updates but personally it looks as if you've spent over $6K in updates and wondering if you could have simply bought a Portfolio edition or even a Supercharged with all the extra money you're pouring into this 3.0. Jag parts are so expensive you know. I just sold my 20" Kasuga wheels and tires to a guy for $1500, he was so happy as he was going to a dealer to spend $6000 for the wheels alone.

Oh my, I see another update for Ms Snowcat...I really feeling the side skirts. Also have my eye on a XJR hood with the vents.

Hi,

For the shirts, original parts from XJR : C2D31112LML & C2D31114LML ... 500$ each !

Yes i replace all trim including the front windshield area in the carbon fiber
I have buy the kit on the secondary market in England (600$)

You see all pictures in my website :
http://www.nicodep.net/XJCarbonInt.htm

I bought this XJ Premium Luxury model in Germany has a very interresting price! (42k$ for 9 months and 15000kms)
Anyway I wanted to personalize it a little, whatever the model

But it's true, the Jaguar parts are very expensive ... luckily my dealer makes me correct discounts!
