In my 2019 XJ50 the soft close in the driver's door was not working
I was quite upset as I just bought the car a few days ago and I spook with the previous owner ( just one owner ) he saw that issue right when he bought the car new and he asked in Jaguar why was not working and one of the guys in Jaguar told him that it is normal, as the driver you can easely close the door which is not the same for the 3 other doors where you must stop the car and close them well your self
but I have the soft close in the Maserati and all doors have soft close, on my previous CLS or the Phaeton etc all doors had soft close, and I thought maybe Jaguar spare some money on this, who knows
after reading this topic, I just went a few minutes ago to the trunk where the small fuse box is on the side...
and what I found ??

Just connect the grey connectors and that is it
all doors including the drivers door work with soft close
