Stud and nuts

Stud and nuts
I have replaced the summer tires recently and unfortunately 2 nuts got broken and it also turned out that 1 stud is halfway broken.
Does anyone know if studs can be replaced separately? I have quoted my the local dealership and then can only change the entire unit with all 5 studs for 229 euro + 115 euro for labor.
Also, I've heard that original nuts are very bad and should be replaced, but I have no idea which ones should I buy. There are Gorilla ones out there, but quite expensive ones.
Any help appreciated as always.

The stud should be able to be replaced.
The OEM 2-piece lug nuts will last forever if you always use the correct 19mm socket. I prefer to use hand tools because it's too easy to damage them with power tools if that socket is not fully seated. See this thread, particularly my post #6:

I bought a set of Toyota lug nuts, socket, etc., and they're still in my workbench drawer, as all of my OEM lug nuts are still good. I might never need to use them.

The X351 suspension is identical to the previous X350/358 except that it has coil springs on the front instead of air springs that the older model has, (an application of common sense from Jaguar !!). Both models have air springs at the rear.

The studs are designed to fail if they have been over torqued. If not, the wheel nuts will break the wheel. Always ask for hand tightening to the specified torque. I learned this the hard way years ago with a 1987 Toyota Supra. My local Goodyear dealer ruined half of the studs and wheel nuts. When the studs broke attempting to remove the nuts, the stud broke off at the nut. Unfortunately, they refused to pay for the damage.

lolshto looking at the photo in your post it looks like all the studs are damaged in the thread area. If it was my XJ i would be replacing all the studs and lug nuts for that wheel. How do the other wheel nuts and studs look? As Stuart stated correct torquing and sockets are critical in longevity.

you wont get studs from jaguar. I always knock out old studs when I replace a hub just for these occasions. I couldn't tell you for sure if you can get in from behind without looking at it. Some you cannot and even then I usually ground a flat in the base to get it in without damaging the threads. knocking the old out is not a issue. once in place with lots of lube I stack washers and use a old lug nut to draw the stud into the hub till seated. I don't see anything that looks bad with the other studs from your picture.

Sorry I disagree. The factory sheet metal capped lug nuts are crap! We have been fighting this for almost 20 years now. My 2005 STR had the same problem and my 2014 XJR came with the same sorry setup.
Do a search and you will see hundreds of threads on this. S Type, X Type and XJ forums all tell the same story.
Get rid of the factory 2 piece lug nuts! They are a terrible design and destined to fail at the worst time. Like on the side of the road when your changing a tire.
I got these for my XJR on EBay. 20 lug nuts for about $100 shipped.
Lug Nuts
These are solid one piece metal and chrome plated, they also sell black ones. Now one additional thing to consider? The ones I linked are solid steel and chrome plated. Several people have posted they found solid SS lug nuts which I think would be another step up. However my steel ones worked fine for 6 years on the STR and so far about a year plus on the XJR. I have run them for a long time and many miles with zero problems.
I first ran across this on my 2003 Lincoln LS where again we had hundred of posts about this problem.
After destroying several wheel studs I only press them in using my 20T shop press now. I remove the hub from the car completely. I really don't like to pound out the old ones either and press them out to.
If possible. Sometimes the hub geometry prevents using a press.
