I'm not sure just what the problem is, but the passenger side has always been starving for windshield washer fluid. What baffles me is that there is always adequate washer fluid being pumped to the windshield wipers at the union by the firewall, but the driver's side is always receiving the lion's share of the washer fluid. Moreover, there is absolutely no restriction at all to either of the washer jets. From what I could tell by fiddling with this last year, it simply looked like a bad design more than anything else. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks.

Just went through this last month on my vehicle: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-moldy-202527/
The washer jets are pinholes, clogged by a grain of sand. After cleaning out the tank I removed the wiper blades and blew compressed air from the outside-in to clear the jets. Alternately, if you clean out the tank and flush the hoses just replace the wiper blades with new OEM. They're $20 each and come with brand new jets.
Mine now sprays a monsoon of washer fluid on both sides.

I didn't clean out the washer reservoir, but I did install new OEM wiper blades with the washer jets from SNG Barratt not too long ago. I'll take your advice and clean out the reservoir, and clean everything else out with the compressed air. Thanks.

Also check and clean the rubber filter that is on the base of the actual washer pump in the reservoir. You might find it clogged or chewed up as its rubber.Originally Posted by Rickkk

Agree, in my tank the mold/scum had almost completely clogged the inlet filter of the washer pump. Originally Posted by abonano

Well, I finally got around to checking out why the passenger side windshield wiper is starving for windshield washer fluid today, and it appears that the little rubber hose on the passenger windshield wiper itself is likely pinched. In fact, the hose seems to be pinched right at the pivoted end of the passenger windshield wiper. Gee, I hope that I'm not going to have to remove that entire wiper off just to fix this. Any thoughts? Thanks..

Ah, yeah same hose was pinched and broken through on my car when I started the debacle with my washer. I assume it got mis-routed when my windscreen was replaced a few years ago.You need part C2S23683 for the new hose.
You will have to lift the cowl panel to access it for replacement. Depending on how dexterous you are, you may or may not have to pull the wiper arms to get enough clearance. THey're really not difficult if you have a wiper puller.

For what it is worth, I completely fixed mine for about $10. I went to Home Depot and bought a 10-count bag of sprinkler Tees, and a spool, maybe 5 feet of 1/8-inch id hose. Then replaced everything from the reservoir tees. Never worked better.

2) remove inner fender liner
3) you will see the washer bottle with 2 pumps.
A) lower one supplies windscreen washer
B) upper one supplies headlamp washer
4) remove lower pump; clean rubber filter
5) replace liner and wheel
my car is a 2017 XJ L
