Default Bonnet/hood insulation

Hi,
What are people using to hold the bonnet/hood insulation in place? The taps that go inserted into holes in the bonnet are no longer do their job.

Replacement if available, or just remove it.

I had the exact same issue. I cut some sections about the width of those tabs from a foam pool noodle and used them to hold the tabs in place. Has worked well for me.

The foam I used is that split foam used for insulating pipes. You can get it at most hardware stores like Home Depot or other places. Here are the pictures you asked for.

I replaced my hood insulator/liner a few months back with an authentic one ordered by Harper Jaguar Knoxville, fixed all of my problems. I had the same exact spot problem where the tabs were no longer holding it in.

The replacement is worth it, they updated the design so that it better holds itself in place using the clips. Here is the part number: "C2C32839". My replacement ran me about $300 and an afternoon of engine bay detailing.
