Default running wire to trunk battery via back seat?

Hello again. New project. I wish to use a trickle battery system to my battery. Ive done a search on the from without any luck. Results were pretty much other major jobs getting to the trunk via removing back seat. Im hoping there is a easier way to snake and pull my 2 wires into the trunk. I am not concerned of appearance in the trunk but a clean access from the back seat into trunk is my goal.. Any help is appericated.

GOT IT! Very cool. There is a pull cord tucked between the back and seat cushion on each side of the XJ8L X358 jaguar releasing the back seat cushion. Now just need to figure snaking wire into truck. There seems to be many options.

Mmmm, well I can easily remove my back seat cushions. No issue at all. But then find a hole to go to the trunk. I'm checking this with my 1999 XKR...

I don't quite see how this works. You still have to connect a charger to the mains, so, are you gonna run a wire from the cabin out through a window or something?

I just have a flattish 2-wire cable coming out through the boot/trunk rubber seal. Doesn't leave any depression in the rubber. I do have to open the boot each time I connect/disconnect, but then you have to operate the window or something? That's a 12v cable with the charger external where I can see it...and so I don't electrocute my wife...

Another way out is beside the battery vent, though through the floor gets into road dirt territory.

Edit: One could always arrange the connector externally, if it was reasonably waterproof, and to avoid opening the boot.

You could even have the connector flapping out the back by 5ft.

Not for me as i would forget it was connected, and drive away.
With the trunk lid open, it's not near as likely that you will drive away, while still hooked up.

I must admit I did exactly that a couple of days ago. Only time in several years.

That's why you need to plan your journey. So you can choose a long enough lead.
Seriously, that's why the lead is run across my approach path.
