2004 xj8. My 4 windows And sunroof are stuck down/open. No button control for all 4 doors including sunroof. I tried replacing the switches. Still nothing. I (think) I check all fuses. Nothing. I inserted the key in door manually. Turned and held on unlock. Back two windows (previously closed) went down. When I turn to lock and hold. Nothing happens except the sunroof closes. Weird that I can not control it from interior switch. Please help.

 

How long have you had the Jaguar, & is this a new issue ?
If it's a new to you car, was it purchased recently from a car dealer?

 

Car was from private seller and I have had it for a couple years.

Need more info to help diagnose this. Did you do anything to the car that may have triggered the malfunction? Like a new battery, or some other electrical issue? Does the key remote fob thing still work as it should? Not sure why it would matter but maybe it needs a battery? No flooding? No hurricane activity? does the rear window lockout switch feel like it Would work if the windows did? Just trying to help think it through..... Good Luck!
