Connections to Door card

Connections to Door card
I have recently taken off the drivers door card (RHD), to replace the cable from the interior to the door lock.
I remember removing the 2 white connectors from the door switch plus the speaker cable and the puddle lamp cable.
I got the cable replaced and sorted out the wiring to put it back I plugged in the door switch connector and the speaker and puddle light wiring.
I have also found a black straight 6pin connector that doesn't seem to have a socket to plug into. As the car doesn't have memory switches as part of the door switch pack.
Am I right to assume that this is where this 6 pin plug would fit if the memory part of the switch pack was fitted??
Thanks
Bill W.

I'm away working at the moment, so I can't physically check this out, but I do believe you are right about the plug. I have memory on my seats etc. and from recollection, that's the only other plug/connector you should have in there.
Speaker, puddle lamp, mirror adjustment, windows and memory switch. What else is there? These cars, like so many others, would be fitted with a generic loom to cover everything, including the spec that isn't there. It's just easier to make one loom with lots of left over tails and plugs, although it makes it a little easier to retro fit items.
