I have a 1996 Jaguar XJR 6 called. Super Charge. My mechanic says it requires new sets of fuel injectors.
Can I use any XJ fuel injector model? Is an aftermarket reliable. I don't use the car in the winter.

no you need the 36lb/380cc injectors for the XJR. D3165AA or D3165KA are the factory jag numbers but very expensive. D3165BA may also work and is a lot cheaper.

The Jaguar part number for the 380cc/min Lucas/Bosch D3165AA injectors that xalty mentioned is DBC11041. The latest superseded part number appears to be LNA1520BA. Jaguarclassicparts.com shows them as no longer available (NLA), but jaguarparts.com lists them as available for $274.95 each (!)
Let me know if you can't find a good deal on a set of new injectors. I may have a full set of New Old Stock D3165AA in my parts bins.
Cheers,
Don

Not to be a downer...Hi Eddie and welcome...I hope you are sure about needing all six. In the past I have taken mine for a rebuild and bench test ($25 each) and found I only had to replace one. Just wouldn't want to see you throwing parts at a car that may not need them, can leave a bad taste eventually.

I have to agree with Greg. It would be very unusual to need all 6 injectors at the same time just from normal wear and tear. Is there something particular about car's history that we don't know?

I had sent you a Private Message back on the 8th asking if you were sure you needed a full set and not just one or two injectors but I didn't hear back from you. I'll see if I can find the set! Check for my PM since that will be a more appropriate channel for communication.
Cheers,
Don
